The Myrtle Beach office at 1117 48th Avenue North serves Georgetown, Horry, Marion, and Florence counties and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Skilled Home Health Care

Home health care services must be ordered by a physician. Services include:

• Skilled nursing — RN/LPN visits for wound care, medication management, disease monitoring, and patient education
• Physical therapy — restoring strength, balance, and mobility
• Occupational therapy — helping patients regain daily living skills and home safety adaptations
• Speech-language pathology — addressing communication and swallowing difficulties
• Medical social work — care coordination, counseling, and community resource referrals
• Chronic condition management — ongoing support for heart failure, COPD, diabetes, and other conditions

Services typically begin within 24 hours of a call. Visits are usually scheduled 1–2 times per week and adjusted as patient needs evolve.

MUSC Health Hospice At Home by BAYADA

In addition to home health, the Myrtle Beach team also provides MUSC Health Hospice At Home by BAYADA — end-of-life support for patients with a limited life expectancy prognosis and their loved ones, delivered in the comfort of home.

• Recovering from surgery, illness, or injury

How It Works

1. Doctor's order — a physician must order home health care services for insurance coverage
2. Admission visit — a BAYADA clinician visits your home to learn about your needs, answer questions, and create a personalized plan of care
3. Care team assembled — a team is matched to your unique needs, supervised by a Registered Nurse Clinical Manager
4. Services begin — visits typically 1–2 times per week; plan adjusts as goals are met
