Living Options

Garden Manor Village offers three apartment floor plans, all unfurnished with a full kitchen and in-unit washer/dryer:

• 1 Bedroom / 1 Bath — 575 sq ft ($2,095/month, single; $2,495/month, couple)
• 1 Bedroom / 1 Bath (larger) — 645 sq ft ($2,295/month, single; $2,695/month, couple)
• 2 Bedroom / 2 Bath — 992 sq ft ($2,595/month, single; $2,995/month, couple)

Each apartment includes a spacious living area, full kitchen, private bathroom, and ample storage. Select units include accessibility features for residents with mobility needs, including wheelchair-accessible showers. The community is smoke-free indoors. A one-time, non-refundable community fee of $1,500 is required at lease signing, with a 12-month lease term.

An income-based rent option may also be available, where residents pay no more than 30% of their adjusted income with utilities included. Families should ask the leasing office about eligibility.

• One well-prepared mid-day meal daily (additional meals available for $8 each; take-away box available for the evening)

A scheduled activity program is included in monthly rent and designed to support an active, socially connected lifestyle. Support Services

Garden Manor Village is an independent living community — residents live on their own in private apartments. Several directories note that additional care services are available through on-site or visiting providers, including in-home health services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, medication management assistance, and hospice coordination. A part-time nurse is on staff. Families should confirm which services are provided in-house versus coordinated through outside agencies.

Garden Manor Village was built in 2002 and sits in the heart of Murrells Inlet — often called the Seafood Capital of South Carolina — with 39 single-story, garden-style apartments on a compact, walkable campus. The MarshWalk waterfront boardwalk is 2.5 miles away and Garden City Beach is five minutes by car. Other nearby attractions include Huntington Beach State Park (5.6 miles), Brookgreen Gardens (7 miles), and Myrtle Beach (15 minutes). Waterfront dining, deep sea fishing, shopping, arts centers, and golf are all within a short drive.
