Assisted Living — Caregivers assist residents with bathing, dressing, medication management, meal support, and mobility assistance. A 24-hour awake care team is on duty around the clock, with a part-time nurse also on staff. Each resident receives a personalized care plan developed at move-in and reassessed regularly. Physical therapy and rehabilitation services are available on-site.

Memory Care — Spring Oak offers a dedicated memory care program for residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, featuring soothing colors, cozy common areas, secured exits and outdoor spaces, and a separate intimate dining room with discreet staff support. Staff build long-term relationships with residents and families. Families are encouraged to discuss specific programming, staffing ratios, and security features with the community directly during a tour.

Respite Care — Short-term stays are available for seniors recovering from illness or surgery, or for families who need temporary caregiver relief.

Living Options

Spring Oak offers one-bedroom apartments, studio apartments and studio suites, and companion suites for those preferring a shared arrangement. All units are on a single floor. Residents are encouraged to bring their own furnishings and décor to personalize their space. Safety features including railings and safety bars are throughout the building. The community accepts adults 55 and older.

A Life Enrichment Director oversees the activity program, getting to know each resident and tailoring programming to individual interests. The community philosophy centers on “living in place” — staying active, connected, and engaged. Weekly live entertainment is also offered.

Spring Oak at Conway is situated along U.S. Highway 378 in Conway, a small city about 15 miles inland from Myrtle Beach known for its oak-lined streets, historic downtown, and Waccamaw River walks. The single-story building has easy access to Conway Medical Center, pharmacies, and local dining. The area offers a quieter, more affordable alternative to the beach communities while remaining close to Grand Strand attractions.

Ownership & Management

The community is operated by Spring Oak Conway LLC under the Spring Oak Senior Living brand, a family-run organization managing several communities across South Carolina and the East Coast. It was previously known as Carolina Gardens at Conway under Priority Life Care management. The current administrator is Tisha Lodzinski.
